GCHS ADOPTION PROCESS

1. Submit your application. Please make sure it is completely filled out with the name of the animal you are interested in.
2. After GCHS has completed your application we will get in contact with you to let you know the status of your application.
3. If the application is for an outdoor animal you must fill out the outdoor adoption application. After receiving that, an outdoor home inspection will be completed.
4. If you are interested in adopting a dog & currently have dogs in your household, we require a meet and greet. This is to ensure the animals can safely interact with each other. You must have an approved application before the meet and greet takes place. Meet and greets are scheduled with the receptionist to make sure we have adequate staff available.
5. GCHS does not put holds on animals.
6. Adoption fees are non-refundable.

GCHS does not do first come, first serve. We look for the best fit for each individual animal.
