In collaboration with the Director of Operations, the Director of Public Affairs will develop a tactical plan to execute Green County Humane Society’s mission. This salaried 40-50 hour position (no benefits) will occasionally include weekend and evening work.

Part–time animal care worker opening at the Green County Humane Society in Monroe, WI. Individuals responsible for providing high quality care to all shelter animals and observing health and behavior of animals. Ideal candidates must have animal handling background and be able to work with animals; be team players and communicate well with public. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Brick Campaign


Looking for a special way to commemorate a loved one or a special milestone? Brick pavers can be purchased for placement at the new shelter and will be engraved with your personal message! There are two different sizes available.

The brick project will be ongoing.  Each spring we will place all bricks purchased in the previous year.

Morning Dog Walkers Needed

GCHS needs volunteer dog walkers in the mornings (weekdays andweekends). Volunteers can walk dogs anytime between 11:00am-12:00pm.Please contact the shelter at (608) 325-9600 if you are interested involunteering.
