animals? The Spring Cleaning Weekend is back!
The spring garage and bake sale will take place April
24-26 at Monroe Auto Sales. Drop-off times, sale times, and accepted items can be found
GCHS is once again teaming up with Woodford State Bank
and Habitat for Humanity of Green County to bring electronics/tech recycling to Monroe
on April 26. See below for information on drop-off site and accepted
GCHS Annual Membership Meeting
Join us for the GCHS Annual Meeting May 1, 2014 at the Peppercorn (Ludlow Mansion). The
meeting will begin at 6:00pm and include membership registration, special awards and a
presentation on 2013 accomplishments. Members will be asked to vote on a bylaws change and
election of board of director members.
The following people have submitted the proper paperwork and have been recommended by the
Nomination Committee for the 2014 Board of Directors.

Job opening at Green County Humane
Animal Care Worker Job Opening:
animal care worker opening at the Green County Humane Society in Monroe, WI. Individuals
responsible for providing high quality care to all shelter animals and observing health
and behavior of animals. Ideal candidates must be team players, communicate well with
public, and must have animal handling experience. Applicants must have a valid driver’s
license. Hours include nights and weekends.

Looking for a special way to commemorate a loved one or a special milestone? Brick
pavers can be purchased for placement at the new shelter and will be engraved with your
personal message! There are two different sizes available.

Morning Dog Walkers Needed
GCHS needs volunteer dog walkers in
the mornings (weekdays andweekends). Volunteers
can walk dogs anytime between 11:00am-12:00pm.Please contact the shelter at (608) 325-9600 if you are interested
