Listening Session Planned June 24
The Green County Humane Society will hold a public listening session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24 in the second-floor meeting room of the Monroe Public Library.
The primary purpose of the listening session will be to allow GCHS members and community members in general to share concerns or comments about the GCHS’ proposed aggressive dog policy. GCHS has formed a task force to discuss and develop guidelines on how to handle animals that display overly aggressive behavior. The task force has been begun work on the issue, but at this point, no policy has been developed.
The listening session is intended to provide individuals an opportunity to provide input before the policy is developed. Other topics of general interest to GCHS may also be discussed. The session is open to the public.

Two of the routes will take bicyclists past Monticello, which will be hosting its annual Homecoming celebration that day.
There will be SAG support along the routes until 2 p.m. There will also be food and beverages at rest stops along the routes, and at the end of the ride.
Toffler’s, 200 5th Ave, New Glarus, will also be hosting an After Ride Party.
