The shelter is full of cats! Through the month of September, all feline adoptions are $25. Adoptions help two cats-the one you adopt and one waiting for space at the shelter!

 

Beginning the week of June 30, the shelter will have new hours:

Wednesdays through Sundays, open 12:00pm-5:00pm. Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and all holidays.

 

Garage Sale Oct 2nd - 4th. 

The next Green County Humane Society Garage Sale is
Oct 2nd - 4th.

If you like to bake, you can donate baked goods by dropping them off at Monroe Auto Sales on Oct 1st or early on Oct 2nd. The items should be labeled but not priced.

For those who would like to donate items to the sale, you may drop these off at Monroe Auto Sales beginning Sept 29th. Items not accepted are: computers, printers, outdated microwaves or television sets, ceiling fans or adult clothing or shoes. We DO accept infant clothing.

Animal Care Worker 

Part–time animal care worker opening at the Green County Humane Society in Monroe, WI. Individuals responsible for providing high quality care to all shelter animals and observing health and behavior of animals. Ideal candidates must have animal handling background and be able to work with animals; be team players and communicate well with public. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Brick Campaign

 

Looking for a special way to commemorate a loved one or a special milestone? Brick pavers can be purchased for placement at the new shelter and will be engraved with your personal message! There are two different sizes available.

The brick project will be ongoing.  Each spring we will place all bricks purchased in the previous year.

 
Morning Dog Walkers Needed

GCHS needs volunteer dog walkers in the mornings (weekdays andweekends). Volunteers can walk dogs anytime between 11:00am-12:00pm.Please contact the shelter at (608) 325-9600 if you are interested involunteering.
